Year 9 Review
The year team want to congratulate all the year 9 students on having an amazing year in school. This year has seen year 9 challenge themselves academically, musically, in the community and in being proactive with in JOG sports teams. Here are a few of their achievements from the year:
Charlotte Hutchins, Cyrus Wordly-Farrell, Fynn Ashton, Jude Ashton, Lils McQuoid, Harry Pritchard, Tyler Dean, Kaydance Dunk, Oli Harris, Leighton Stainer and Jack Radford.
All of the above students took part in an academic mentoring programme with PhD students from a number of universities. Our students were set the challenge of writing an academic piece on the impact of AI, an extremely relevant topic in today’s society. All of our students passed this assessment programme, with some achieving the academic equivalent of a First at degree level.
